'Got Fight?' - Reviewing Forrest Griffin's New Book

Just finished reading Forrest Griffin's book, 'Got Fight?' and was thoroughly entertained. It's funny, insightful, scary and an all around good read. Now... it is intentionally overt in it's machismo and kind of homophobic... although I read it as not being serious and instead being part of the intentional overtness 'cause, for the most part, the context tends to be him making fun of himself. Also, there's a whole lot of space at the end dedicated to basic fight techniques. If you know anything about fighting or do any training yourself... it's a little redundant. Sure there's comical aspects to the writing in this section, but I found myself just giving up on reading through them.

If you're an MMA, UFC, or Forrest Griffin fan, it's definitely worth a read... and even if you're not, it's pretty damn funny. Forrest is definitely a character and though not incredibly long, this book gives you a pretty healthy dose of his personality.
